I've just discovered a handy tool: page2rss.com
will create an RSS feed you can subscribe to in Google Reader, even if the web site that publishes the page doesn't offer a feed of its own.
Here's an example. The Cleveland Wine School, now the American Wine School
, is run by Marianne Frantz, a terrific wine educator. In addition to her educational efforts, she runs the Cellar Door, a wine tasting room that serves prix fixe flights on Fridays and Saturdays. We love what Marianne does, but she's focused on wine, not social media - the Wine School's websites offer pretty basic functionality. I've always wanted an RSS feed to keep track of the Cellar Door's tasting schedule
, or an iCal feed so the theme of each tasting would show up in my Google Calendar. Now, page2RSS gives me the feed
